Anna Clifford

Anna Clifford is a Dublin-based composer and instrumentalist. She has played and written for New Music ensembles, choirs and theatre groups as well as for jazz and other bands in both Dublin and San Francisco. Recently her music has been performed by Node Ensemble and Trinity Singers as well as by her own group as part of 10 Days in Dublin festival and for the theatre production The Last Post during Dublin Fringe Festival, and she has had audio-visual works screened at the Contemporary Music Centre and the Bluebottle Collective.She runs workshops in musical improvisation and DIY electronics for musicians around Dublin and is a member of the Irish Composers Collective. She is a graduate from the Trinity College composition department and recipient of the Gerald Victory composition prize.
